Platt Makes Home Debut For Telford

Former Crewe Alexandra Apprentice Daniel Platt made his home debut for AFC Telford United’s Blue Square Bet North clash to Blyth Spartans on Saturday.

Platt stood in for Ryan Young, who was suspended for one game after his dismissal in the 1-0 win at Vauxhall Motors two weeks ago.

18 year old, Platt, came on as a substitute in that one and impressed with a confident display capped by a fine late save.

Manager Andy Sinton stuck with the former Crewe Alexandra youngster for the Blyth game which ended in a draw despite United’s attack on the visitors for much of the match.
