Places Still Available for Sports Journalism

Recruitment is still in progress for the PFA sponsored Sports Journalism BA (Hons) at Staffordshire University.

The course is designed to introduce students to the practical skills of journalism, including the reporting of sports events in print, radio and TV.

Modules are designed to improve sports news writing and feature writing skills and teach the techniques of sports broadcasting.

Students will also receive essential technical training in editing and production techniques in preparation for work placement in a sports journalism environment.

Catering specifically for current and ex PFA members the course programme is run over two years and is designed to be flexible around the training and playing schedules of players.
