Three Plymouth Argyle Apprentices have been offered professional deals sealing their future with the Pilgrims for the next 12 months.
Forward Damien McCrory, defender Shane White and goalkeeper Lloyd Saxton will be extending their stay at the club following their successful campaign.
White captained the Argyle side which lost to Manchester City in the FA Youth Cup quarter finals in February, which is the furthest the Pilgrims have progressed in the tournemant in 54 years.
Speaking exclusively to the club website, boss Paul Sturrock said:
“I have spoken to youth coaches, and taken on board what they have told me, as well as listening to the advice of my own coaches.”
He added:
“The three who have been taken on now have a year to prove to me that they are worthy of a longer contract.”
