PFA Player of the Year Awards

Last week the nominations were revealed for this season’s PFA Players’ Player of the Year Award and the PFA Young Player of the Year Award.

Last season’s winner Cristiano Ronaldo remains the bookies favourite to reclaim his crown, however, he will come under pressure from Arsenal duo Cesc Fabregas and Emmanuel Adebayor as well as Liverpool pair Steven Gerrard and Fernando Torres who have all enjoyed fantastic seasons. Pompey goalkeeper David James completes the list of nominations for the main award.

Ronaldo also heads the list for The PFA Young Player of the Year award and is joined on the list of nominations by Torres, Fabregas, Aston Villa pair Gabriel Agbonlahor and Ashley Young and Manchester City defender Micah Richards.

All Awards will be presented at a glittering ceremony at The Grosvenor House Hotel on Sunday 27th April.
