Having submitted and won a collaborative bid for funding (Learning & Innovation Grant – LIG) from the Association of Learning Providers, League Football Education and Lifetime are pleased to announce the commencement of a partnership to support the delivery of the anatomy and physiology underpinning knowledge for the ASE programme.
The LIG fund has enabled Lifetime to work closely with LFE on the design of a bespoke menu of training options, the first of which will be piloted at Port Vale in late September / early October.
Football League clubs will be able to match the needs of their Apprentices by choosing from a menu of different options ranging from half-day to full-day workshops delivered by an experienced Lifetime tutor.
All training has been designed to be both bespoke and sports specific aimed at engaging the Apprentices in interactive learning and delivering an innovative and standardised approach to exercise and fitness knowledge.
One of the main features of the training will be the use of a fully interactive 3D teaching tool which will enable the Apprentices to take part in active learning with anatomy and physiology brought to life before them in a focused environment.
All teaching will be accompanied by tailored learning materials that will work to provide evidence and knowledge for both the NVQ and BTEC elements of the Apprenticeship.
All Apprentices will receive a certificate of achievement on completion of their workshops and as the links between LFE and Lifetime develop, the knowledge gained from the training will provide a sound base from which further Lifetime qualifications can be gained either during the Apprenticeship programme or if a contract is not awarded at the end of the 2 years.
