Striker Sam Mullarkey has left Lincoln City after the deadline on his contract offer from the Club expired.
The 21 year old former ASE Apprentice declined an offer by boss Peter Jackson to go to Germany with the first team squad for pre-season training.
Mullarkey was released by Nottingham Forest on the completion of his Apprenticeship and had a spell with Lincoln United and Grantham Town before joining Jackson’s side last summer.
Jackson told the Club’s official website:
“His new contract offer had run out and I’m disappointed he hadn’t signed it. We offered him the chance to do pre-season with us and he declined that. That’s Sam’s right and hopefully he will get fixed up and move on.”
