McGlen And Potts Named As Cumbrian’s Captains

Carlisle United’s Head of Youth Eric Kinder has named two youth-team captains for next season.

Lance McGlen and Brad Potts both defenders, are the two players given the responsibilities from the 8 second year Apprentices who will start the season with the Cumbrians.

“I’ve gone for Lance McGlen and Brad Potts as the captains, as they will share the responsibility on and off the pitch,” said Kinder.

“Lance will wear the armband on a match day, but Brad will have a part to play in and around the club on a day to day basis, and out on the pitch.”

“We’ve got a good mix of first and second years and I’m looking forward to getting them all back together.”

“We’ve got a difficult pre-season lined up for them and hopefully that will prepare them for what will be another very tough season.”
