Mark Arthur Completes Cycling Challenge

Mark Arthur

News reached LFE today that Mark Arthur who currently sits on the LFE Board while also fulfilling his duties as Chief Executive of Nottingham Forest FC, has successfully completed his quest to cycle from Lands End to John O’Groats in eight days.

Mark who headed up a team of five cyclists completed the 900-mile journey and even managed to survive the extreme Scottish weather. The team raised almost £15,000 in total for the Danielle Beccan Memorial Trust which means that the saddle sores collected on the way have all been worthwhile.

On behalf of all the team Mark thanked everyone who donated for their generosity and said:

“I came through what was undoubtedly the hardest physical and mental challenge of my life.”

LFE would like to congratulate Mark and the team for their sterling efforts for an extremely worthy cause.
