Thank you to all Clubs who applied for this year’s Leonardo Pre Season Tours opportunity, we were very pleased with the positive response we had from Clubs.
In total we received 23 applications for the three available spaces giving our panel judges no end of headaches.
After careful consideration the successful Clubs chosen to take part in this year’s Pre Season tours are:
- Crystal Palace
- Huddersfield Town
- Aldershot Town

LFE appreciate that this decision will be disappointing to many Clubs. However we are continually looking to increase opportunities to Clubs in the future and strengthen our links throughout Europe.
A further application has been made to the Leonardo for funding in 2011/12. Should this be successful we expect to be in a position to provide opportunities for a further three Clubs to experience a tour in 2011.
Priority for these applications will be given to those clubs who were unsuccessful in this year’s application.
