Lees Off To Stanley

Tom Lees

Leeds United Manager Simon Grayson has allowed defender Tom Lees to join Accrington until January 2nd as he looks to give him first-team experience.

The 18 year old Apprentice could make his debut in the Johnstone’s Paint Trophy clash against Oldham on Tuesday night.

Leeds boss Grayson told the Club’s official website:

“Tom did well when he was with the first team (on their pre-season tour of Ireland) and showed that he was ready to make the step up to experience first-team football.

“The move to Accrington will give him the opportunity to spend time in a first-team environment and we will be keeping an eye on him.”
