King Joins Stones Squad

MK Dons youngster David King has joined Ryman League Premier Division Club Wealdstone on a one-month loan deal.

The 19 year old central midfielder was in line to make his debut against Hastings United on Tuesday night, but the match was postponed because of a waterlogged pitch.

The youngster is now expected to be included in the Stones squad for Saturday’s trip to Canvey Island.

King, who signed professional terms with the Don’s last summer on completion of his Apprenticeship, has already enjoyed a loan spell with Blue Square Premier side Forest Green Rovers earlier this season.

Meanwhile, Stones’ other loan signing, Sam Corcoran, another graduate of the Apprenticeship programme, has returned to Colchester United.
