Hornets Progress For Hodson

Lee Hodson

2nd-year Apprentice Lee Hodson will be hoping his good run in the Watford first team continues this Saturday when the Hornets host Leicester City.

The Academy youngster has featured in the Club’s last three Championship fixtures, a run in which Watford have been undefeated, after forcing his way in to the first team reckoning with some assured displays in the League Cup.

Also an Under-19 Northern Irish international, the youngster who is highly regarded by the staff at Vicarage Road seems to have taken his speedy rise in to the first team in his stride, ensuring that it does not interfere with the educational commitments attached to his Apprenticeship.

LFE Regional Officer, Ian Smithson commented;

“Lee is a perfect example of what the Apprenticeship is all about. He is excelling on the football side yet he has remained a level headed student and started the new academic year really well. I have no doubt that he will succeed both on and off the pitch.”
