Haynes Focussed On Future

Kyle Haynes insists that his mind is firmly focussed on performing for Cheltenham Town.

The youngster scooped the League Two Apprentice of the Year accolade at the Football League Awards last weekend and looks set for a bright future in the game.

But life at Whaddon Road and avoiding relegation are the only things occupying his mind at the moment.

“Obviously you look at the future and think where you can be but I’m focusing on Cheltenham Town and, if I get my chance, to perform for the team,” he said.

“We want to stay in the league and the gaffer’s doing a good job at the moment. I do have my own ambitions to go all the way and play at the highest level possible. I’m always developing and working on my game.”

He added: “We got a good result at the weekend and we need to bounce off that and get a few more wins.”
