Guy Bonwick

Guy signed a professional contract with Ipswich Town FC on his 17th birthday and captained the reserves before a series of injuries in his final year limited his appearances and the club decided to release him at age 19.

By the time he left the club he had achieved 2 A Levels and 1 AS Level and the club’s recommendation enabled Guy to gain a place at Loughborough University where he is studying towards a degree in Management Sciences.

As part of his degree he is currently on a 1-year placement with an insurance company in London and hopes to achieve a permanent job when he graduates in 2007.
