Torquay United winger Saul Halpin has signed an 18-month professional contract after impressing while playing for the Club’s Under-18s.
The 17 year old joined the Gulls via the ASE programme and has already caught the eye of Manager Paul Buckle, who gave the Cornish youngster some playing time from the bench in pre-season.
Halpin was among the substitutes for the 3-1 FA Cup first round win over Cheltenham at Plainmoor on Saturday.
