Crewe Alexandra Manager Dario Gradi has confirmed that the Club are still waiting for Byron Moore to make a decision on the contract he has been offered.
The 22 year old, who can operate as a winger or a striker, has been a first-team regular for the Alex this season but is out of contract in the summer.
And Gradi insists that the decision rests solely in Moore’s hands:
“Last time I spoke to him he said he hadn’t made up his mind, The onus is on him,” said Gradi.
“He has a contract on offer to sign and we can’t improve that offer.”
Moore made his debut in August 2007 and has made 140 appearances, scoring 14 goals.
As he is below the age of 24, Crewe would be entitled to compensation should he leave for another Club.
