German Happy With Shots

Antonio German

On-loan striker Antonio German is happy with the opportunity to prove himself in Shots colours.

The 17 year old Queens Park Rangers player made his debut for Aldershot Town in the Johnstone’s Paint Trophy loss to Hereford United on Tuesday evening.

He told BBC Surrey:

“I’m happy that I could gain experience and show them what I can do so I can back to QPR and they can see. First team experience is valuable so my gaffer can see what I can do.”

German remembers being at QPR when Aldershot boss Gary Waddock was first team Manager and admits knowing Waddock had a part to play in the short term deal.

“He’s a great guy, he’s seen me play before and he just recommended me to come and I’m here!”
