Francis On The Move

Former Coventry City Apprentice Liam Francis has joined Zamaretto League Premier Division Club Hednesford Town.

The young defender, who had a year as a professional at the Ricoh Arena following his Apprenticeship, was released by the Club last summer and has more recently been a prominent member of the Redditch United squad in the Blue Square North.

He leaves Redditch as the Club’s top goal-scorer with eight goals this term.

Craddock will join fellow new signing Josh Craddock at Hednesford, with the latter signing on from league rivals Halesowen Town.

Craddock is also a former graduate of the ASE programme having completed a two-year Apprenticeship at Walsall.

The highly-rated striker-cum-midfielder signed a professional deal at Walsall but decided to leave the Club in August to pursue a university education.

Craddock will be greeted on his arrival at Town by former Walsall team-mate Sam Adkins, who has extended loan from the Saddlers for a further month.
