Former Apprentices Guide Missouri To Title

No fewer than eight former Apprentices make up the Missouri State University men’s soccer team who won their respective NCAA Division I Conference Championship after clinching a 1-0 victory over Bradley University.

Andrew Turner (Doncaster Rovers), Jack Griffin (Grimsby Town), Jack Roberts (Lincoln City), Jack Wood (Cheltenham Town), James Fawke (Cheltenham Town), James Thomas (Scunthorpe United), Jon Boyack (Notts County) and Phil Woods (Rotherham United) have all competed for the Missouri Bears this campaign in front of impressive record breaking crowds.

Having now qualified for the conference tournament as the number one seed, the Bears will head into the semi-finals on Thursday against either Southern Illinois University Edwardsville or Loyola Chicago with the winner landing a place in Sunday’s final.

MSU’s Associate Head Coach Michael Seabolt is an ever present at LFE’s Assessment Trials recruiting released Apprentices with the offering of a four-year a scholarship to represent the Bears’ football team while at the same time study towards a degree.

“We are very pleased to have all the LFE players as part of the MSU team,” Seabolt told LFE.
