Flanagan Thirsty For More First Team Action

MK Dons defender Tom Flanagan has set his sights on earning a place in manager Paul Ince’s first team after making his debut at the weekend.

The 2nd year Apprentice, still only 17 years old, came on as a late substitute for the Dons as they trailed 5-0 at Carlisle United but despite the heavy defeat he was still pleased to be involved.

Speaking to the Club’s website, he said:

“The circumstances were not ideal but I have been working hard in training and it is just a relief to make my debut. Even when we were 5-0 down I was hoping to get on and I am pleased with how I played.”

“Just being around the first team is a great experience and I hope there will be a lot more appearances to come.”
