First Team Target For Black

Paul Black

Oldham Athletic defender Paul Black is targeting a run in the first team this season as he aims to establish himself in the Latics back four.

The 19 year old who has come through the Club’s Youth ranks, has been on the bench several times this season but is yet to make an appearance.

And Black, who made his debut in March 2008 while still an Apprentice, has pledged to work hard to earn a place in the team.

He told the Club’s official website:

“I think my biggest goal for this season is to get a stint in the first team, to show the gaffer what I have to offer. I have to work hard and my chance will come, I know that.”
