The Professional Footballers Association has met with UK Sport, The Football Association and more recently The World Anti Doping Agency (WADA) regarding Athlete Whereabouts Information and also the National Registered Testing Pool.
A recent case appealed by The WADA highlights the strict liability of the Doping Control Regulations with the player ultimately responsible and the need for all PFA members to be aware of The FA Doping Control Regulations.
The PFA has co-operated with the FA to produce posters and booklets to help members comply with the current doping regulations and these have been circulated to all Clubs and are also available from The PFA.
