An injury to former Norwich City Apprentice Jamie Eames has led to Hemel Hempstead Town Manager Gary Phillips’ intensifying his search for new players.
Eames has suffered an injury which will keep him out for the rest of the season and Town have also lost James Hatch who has quit the Zamaretto League Premier Division Club.
Eames, who scored a hat trick in Hemel’s 5-1 recent defeat of Bedford Town, badly ruptured ligaments in his ankle after a tackle in the 3-0 loss to leaders Farnborough last Friday.
And the loss of the tricky winger has been compounded by the news that Hatch has left Vauxhall Road in reaction to his being left on the bench lately.
