Dunn Closing In On Record

Young Northampton Town goalkeeper Chris Dunn is closing in on a new Club record of successive clean sheets for Northampton Town.

The youngster who came through the Apprenticeship programme at the Club currently sits third on Northampton Town’s all time list and is 100 minutes away from breaking current holder Alan Starling’s 35 year record.

Northampton’s all time list is detailed below:

  • Alan Starling 6 clean sheets, from 25.10.75 to 29.11.75 595 minutes
  • Len Hammond 6 clean sheets, from 3.9.30 to 20.9.30 585 minutes
  • Chris Dunn 5 clean sheets, from 26.12.09 to 23.1.10 495 minutes
  • Keith Welch 5 clean sheets from 11.4.00 to 28.4.00 467 minutes
  • Charles Smith 5 clean sheets from 14.2.25 to 14.3.25 450 minutes

Dunn will hope to edge a step closer to breaking the record when Northampton travel to Darlington tomorrow evening.
