Dragon Becomes a Bull

Matty Done

Former Wrexham Apprentice Matty Done has signed for newly promoted League One side Hereford United after turning down a new deal at the Racecourse.

The 19-year-old was out of contract with the Dragons and this week the two clubs settled on an undisclosed fee for the winger.

Done, a product of Wrexham’s youth system, made his senior debut shortly after his 17th birthday. He went on to become a first team regular and was featured in Issue 2 of Touchline.

In total he made 72 league and cup appearances for the Dragons, but following Wrexham’s relegation from The Football League, he decided to make the move south and will be hoping for a successful campaign next season in pastures new.
