We are pleased to announce that the English Institute of Sport will be attending Progression 08 to meet attending delegates and outline the opportunities available in Olympic sports.
The English Institute of Sport and UK Sport are working together to recruit former athletes onto targeted Olympic Talent Development programmes. The aim is to provide a ‘second chance’ opportunity to switch sports, fast-track developmental time frames, and potentially contribute to Team GB success in 2012.
To give you a flavour of what to expect on the day, the following links will direct you to a number of special Talent ID initiatives currently underway in order to ensure Great Britain achieve its aspirational goal of fourth in the medal table at the London 2012 Olympics.
