Day 9: Pre-Season Tour, Holland

It’s week two of the Pre-Season Tour and all three Clubs are now staying at the KNVB complex.

After exploring their host towns at the weekend, the squads have all moved to the KNVB Hotel in Utrecht and will take part in a masterclass with a KNVB coach.

Yesterday saw the first match played against local side Qatar U19’s. Huddersfield emerged as 3-0 winners with goals from Matt Crooks, Max Leonard and Dominic Dickinson.

Qatar then fell to a heavy defeat at the hands of Crystal Palace yesterday evening, after a hat-trick from Ibra Sekajja and two goals from Venceslas Bola ended Qatar’s hopes of a victory.

This afternoon Huddersfield will play Aldershot and the Terriers will be hoping to continue their success against the Hampshire side.

All three Clubs will have more free time to explore the historical and cultural city of Utrecht on Wednesday and further games are scheduled for Thursday.
