Dale Sign Flynn Permanently

Matthew Flynn

Rochdale have signed defender Matthew Flynn from fellow League Two side Macclesfield Town following a successful loan spell at Spotland.

The 20 year old defender came through the ASE programme while at Moss Rose and played 31 times for the Silkmen last season.

Having dropped down the pecking order during pre-season the youngster has been on loan with Dale this term making his debut in the home game to Aldershot.

He has now signed a two-year deal with Keith Hill’s side, who will owe Macclesfield a percentage of any further sale.
