Calver Signs For Yeovil

Former Ipswich Town Apprentice Craig Calver has signed a one-year deal with Yeovil Town.

The 19 year old Cambridge-born striker has impressed Glovers boss Terry Skiverton in pre-season.

Calver, completed his Apprenticeship at Ipswich in 2008 but left Portman Road for Southend United in March 2009, having not figured in any first-team games.

At Southend, the teenager scored 23 goals for the Under-18’s and enjoyed successful loan spells with St Albans City, Braintree Town and AFC Sudbury.
