Calver Heads to Braintree

Southend United striker Craig Calver has gone on a month-long loan to Blue Square South Club Braintree Town.

Calver signed a one-year development contract with the Shrimpers at the end of last season following his Apprenticeship and is yet to make a fist team appearance at Roots Hall although he has previously featured on the bench.

The 19 year old former Ipswich Town Apprentice had a similar loan spell at St Albans ealier this season.
