Bowery Heads To Barrow

Young Chesterfield forward Jordan Bowery has joined Blue Square Premier side Barrow AFC on a six-week loan and is expected to be included within their squad for today’s away fixture at Oxford United.

He is the second Chesterfield player to go out on loan with Lloyd Kerry last week joining Blue Square North side Alfreton Town.

The 18 year old former Youth team player has been a regular member of the first team squad since signing professional on the completion of his Apprenticeship in the summer.

He has made 16 appearances, including his one start against Scunthorpe United in the Carling Cup. He has scored one goal in the Johnstone’s Paint Trophy tie against Hudddersfield Town.
