Bodin At The Double For Wales U21s

Swindon Town’s Billy Bodin hit a double in a Man of the Match performance, as Wales U21’s thumped Andorra 4-0 at the Racecourse yesterday.

Bodin, son of former Wales International Paul, opened the scoring on 22 minutes when he converted a cross from close range.

The 19-year-old who has bagged 3 goals in his last 6 league outings extended Wales lead on 32 minutes, smashing home a first-time volley from Jake Howells’ corner.

Goals from centre-half David Stephens and Southampton’s Ryan Doble eased the Welsh to a comfortable win which sees them move joint top of their Under 21 European Championship qualifying group.
