Hartlepool United have added Billy Blackford to the names of professionals currently on their books with the youngster putting pen to paper on a professional deal on the expiry of his Apprenticeship.
Hailing from Hartlepool, the skilful left winger has been with the club from the age of 10.
While an ankle injury curtailed his development at the end of last season, Chris Turner and Micky Barron had already seen enough to offer a professional contract to the youngster.
Now fully recovered from his ankle injury, the Club are hoping to see the youngster back in action next term.
