York City have signed Preston youngster Ben Davies on a one-month loan deal.
The 17-year-old defender made his North End debut against Coventry in January and went on to make two further appearances for the club.
He is likely to feature for Nigel Worthington’s side in their League Two opener against Northampton on 3 August.
