Barnet Extend Francomb Loan

Barnet have extended George Francomb’s loan from Norwich City until 9 January 2011, with Barnet visiting Bradford City the day before.

Francomb joined Barnet in early October and has played ten games since making his Bees debut at Underhill against Bradford City.

His original loan period was due to expire after Saturday’s fixture at Oxford United.

Barnet boss Mark Stimson said:

“I’m very pleased that George is with us until into the New Year. Norwich City have to be thanked for loaning George to us and I think he is gaining valuable experience of first team football.”

“He quickly found his feet in League Two football and has played well at full-back and on the right-side of midfield.”

“I would say that his performances have steadily improved during his time with us and my words to him will be more of the same please George and if you could get on the score sheet that would be fine with me too!”
