Banks Links Up With Wanderers

Former Crystal Palace Apprentice Rikki Banks has linked up with League One Club Wycombe Wanderers on trial.

Now 21, Banks was released by Palace in the summer of 2006 and has since played for Worthing (2006-2008) and Lewes (2008-present) as he looks to climb back up the football ladder.

Having joined the joined the Rooks in the summer of 2008, the young keeper has earned rave reviews prompting Wanderers boss Gary Waddock to take a closer look.

Waddock commented:

“We have had him watched for a while now. He is one of a number of players we are looking at. Lewes have been very good in letting us have a look at him.”
