Fleetwood Town have made their first two signings since winning promotion to the Football League.
And both are former graduates of the ASE programme.
Goalkeeper Chris Maxwell has joined on a free transfer from Wrexham after coming through their Apprenticeship programme in 2008, while Witton Albion striker Alex Titchiner, who started out at Crewe Alexandra, has also joined the Cod Army.
Wales Under-21 international Maxwell made 10 appearances in the Blue Square Premier last season.
Titchiner, who left Crewe after one-year as a professional, was named Evo-Stik First Division North Player of the Year for 2011-12.
He will be handed the task of trying to replace top goalscorer Jamie Vardy, who recently joined Championship club Leicester City for an undisclosed fee, believed to be in the region of £1m.
