Apprentice of the Month – April 2009

Congratulations go to Andy Hutchinson of Lincoln City as April 2009 Apprentice of the Month.

Andy has made an excellent start to his Apprenticeship with the Red Imps. A regular in the Youth and reserve team Andy scored 14 goals in the Youth Alliance League and made his first team debut as a substitute against Luton Town in April.

He made his full debut the following week at Bradford City in front of 13,000 people, and scored Lincoln’s goal in a 1-1 draw to become the Club’s youngest ever league scorer.

Andy is conscientious and hard working in all areas of his Apprenticeship and despite missing some education due to first team training he makes up the work in his own time and is on target for all his 1st year work.
