Applications are open for League Football Education’s pre-season trips and coaches trips, both funded by Erasmus+. Read below for more information on both projects.
Erasmus+ Pre-season Trips
Academy teams at EFL clubs have the opportunity to take part in a pre-season trip to Spain, the Netherlands or Italy in the summer of 2019, organised by League Football Education.
The two-week tour, which is fully subsidised by Erasmus+, offers the chance for Under-18s apprentices to receive coaching sessions delivered by host club staff, exposing them to new ideas and skills and gaining an insight into life within a European club.
The itinerary will include a full games programme against European opposition, as well as cultural visits and language lessons, with the trips currently scheduled between 28 July and 12 August 2020*.
Fully subsidised by Erasmus+, the trips are scheduled to take place over two working weeks between 28 July and 12 August*.

Erasmus+ Coaches Trip
League Football Education is offering 15 PDP Coaches/Academy Managers/Heads of Coaching the chance to undertake a one-week placement to Spain.
The trip will include the opportunity to spend time with Spanish clubs, the Spanish FA and the Regional FA, allowing those involved to learn new techniques and gain an understanding of the philosophy and training environments in the country.
The next round of placements will take place between Sunday 1 March and Saturday 7 March 2020.
