Alex Salmon Signs Carlisle Contract

Teenage forward Alex Salmon has signed a one-year professional contract with Carlisle United.

The 18-year-old appeared twice for the Cumbrians towards the end of the 2012-13 season as a substitute against Bournemouth and Colchester.

“I know that the really hard work starts now,” he told the club website. “Training with the first team is a lot harder because everything is much quicker. It gets easier and easier as you get used to it, though.”
