Ainsley Joins Diamonds

Jack Ainsley

Rushden and Diamonds have signed Ipswich Town defender Jack Ainsley on loan until January.

The 19 year old signed a professional contract with Town at the end of his Apprenticeship in the summer and was set to go straight into the Diamonds squad for their FA Cup First Round tie against Hinckley United last Saturday but featured only on the bench as an unused sub.

Jack, a graduate of the ASE programme, made his debut for Town in the Carling Cup win over Shrewsbury in August and will team up with his former Town Academy team-mate Kurt Robinson, who joined the Blue Square Premier Club in the summer.
