Thornhill Heads To Cheltenham On Loan

Nottingham Forest youngster Matt Thornhill has left the city ground to head to Cheltenham Town on an initial one-month deal with a view to an extension.

The 21 year old has made 38 first-team appearances for Forest, scoring five goals, and Town now hope to complete all the relevant registration documentation to enable him to feature against league leaders Rochdale on Saturday.

Robins boss Mark Yates told the Club’s official website:

“He is a talented young player who we have known for a number of years. He will certainly add something different to the squad and can contribute to the team in a big way.”
