Bees Striker Makes Record Books

Kofi Lockhart-Adams made it in to the record books last Wednesday when he played the last 11 minutes of Barnet’s 5-1 defeat at Cheltenham Town and became Barnet’s youngest Football League player.

The young striker, who was 17 on 9th October, takes over the mantle from Kieran Adams, who was 17 years 71 days when he played for the Bees against Mansfield Town in December 1995. Kofi is 17 years 46 days.

Ian Hendon had no qualms in including the youngster within his match-day squad and introduced him to the fray to provide an additional attacking option in place of left back Kenny Gillet with the Bees losing 3-1.

Unfortunately despite a lively 11 minutes the youngster was unable to inspire a Bees comeback.
