Chester City Apprentices

Chester City’s Youth department this season linked in with their local NHS hospital to complete LFE’s online diagnostic testing.

The club have close working relationship with the Countess of Chester NHS Hospital and when the new education and training facility opened on site, the hospital invited Chester City to use the computer suite for online testing which LFE carries out with each new cohort of Apprentices.

City have been involved in a number of fundraising projects with the hospital and continue to support them year on year with players delivering Christmas gifts to the Children’s ward.

Mark Newman, City’s Youth Development Manager is a qualified Clinical Nurse Specialist at the hospital and said,

“The Club have a great partnership with the hospital and being able to use these new facilities is fantastic. We are very grateful for their ongoing support to the club and the new Apprentices.”
