Crawley Town’s Kyle McFadzean has revealed that he has been offering his younger sibling Callum plenty of brotherly advice to ensure he makes the most of his time at Sheffield United.
Kyle McFadzean was with the Blades as a youngster but left shortly after making a sole appearance for the club in September 2005, after ‘falling out of love’ with the game.
Following a spell away from football he rekindled his desire during a spell at Alfreton Town and joined Crawley in 2010.
And speaking to BCC Sussex he revealed that he is keen to guide 19-year-old Callum away from making the wrong career choices.
“I ring my brother up every day encouraging him and telling him what is right and wrong,” he said.
“I think he gets annoyed but at the end of the day I have got to do it because I never had that.”
“I make sure I do it and he stays on the right track.”
Midfielder Callum, who starred as the Blades reached the FA Youth Cup final in 2011 has made eight first-team appearances this season.
