Blue Square Bet Premier side Lincoln City have moved to strengthen their defence with a deadline-day loan move for AFC Bournemouth’s Mitchell Nelson.
The former Colchester United Apprentice has boosted Manager Steve Tilson’s options in defence after doubts being cast over the fitness levels of his playing staff.
The young defender completed his Apprenticeship at the U’s in the summer of 2010.
He then signed for Tooting & Mitcham before securing a professional deal at AFC Bournemouth. He has also had loan spells at non-league sides Eastbourne Borough and Lewes.
The Imps face Luton Town on Saturday as they look to move out of the relegation zone with a win.
