Goal of the Month - March 2012

Eight fabulous strikes have made it on to the shortlist for LFE’s March Goal of the Month contest.

Portsmouth’s James Jennings won in February with close to forty per cent of the public vote.

His Pompey team-mate and September’s winner Ashley Harris is in the mix this month alongside seven other Apprentice players who have been banging in the goals for Football League Clubs in the Youth Alliance and Academy Leagues.

The full list of contenders for March is:

• GOAL A: Brad Abbott, Barnsley v Manchester United
• GOAL B: Ben Hadley, Cheltenham Town v Exeter City
• GOAL C: Ashley Harris, Cardiff City v Portsmouth
• GOAL D: Jonson Clarke-Harris, Coventry City v Ipswich Town
• GOAL E: Tom Rowbotham, Sheffield Wednesday v Middlesbrough
• GOAL F: Lewis Hall, Bristol City v Charlton Athletic
• GOAL G: Aaron Phillips, Coventry City v Ipswich Town
• GOAL H: Georges Ehui, Wycombe Wanderers v Southend United

Voting will remain open until 5pm on Wednesday 18th April.
