Yeovil Confirm Coaching Duo

Yeovil Town have announced the appointment of Mick Bennett as the Manager of the Club’s Centre of Excellence.

Mick, 47, joins the Club after recently coaching at Blackpool and before that, spending nine years at Bolton Wanderers.

Having made his debut at the age of 17, Bennett’s playing career took in Bolton Wanderers, Wolverhampton Wanderers, Cambridge United, Preston North End and Carlisle United.

He represented England at Youth level where he played alongside the likes of Mark Hateley, Terry Gibson, Paul Walsh and Mark Walters.

Meanwhile the Club have also officially confirmed Scott Green as their new Head of Youth after he spent time in the role on a temporary basis.

Green has been in charge of the Youth team since the departure of previous incumbent Mo Hopkins.
