LFE Progression Ambassador Richard Wood, has been given permission to talk to another Championship club after Sheffield Wednesday accepted an offer for the defender.
Coventry City are the favourites to sign the transfer-listed 24-year-old in a deal that would be worth about £500,000 in January.
Owls manager Brian Laws expects Wood to leave the club in the next 48 hours.
