Wickham In England U21 Squad

Ipswich Town striker Connor Wickham has been called up to the England U21 squad for their friendly against Germany tonight.

The 17 year old, who scored four league goals last season, has been added to Stuart Pearce’s squad for the game in Wiesbaden.

A product of Town’s Academy, Connor scored the winning goal for England in the U17 European Championship Final against Spain in the summer.

He has also featured for the U19s during their European Championship first qualifying phase round of games.
